Hello, I’m John Gorman of Diggers Direct, Queensland.
Over the years I’ve been involved and helped build some of Australia’s biggest tunnels in major capital cities across Australia.
I’ve also been involved with many maintenance teams where we had elevated work platforms, knuckle booms, forklifts and excavators to use on-site as required.
On top of that, I’ve also started, owned and operated my own electrical business in Queensland, where many electricians hire excavators and diggers for digging trenches on-site.
While owning my electrician’s business and being employed to work on large construction sites throughout Queensland has been a great experience, I now am at a point in my life where I desire a new path.
How Diggers Direct Started
Armed with the decades of experience I have in construction, electrical work, working with people and managers, and serving clients, I decided to bring my dream to life and start a specialist service that supplies the best quality, best value excavators and diggers to businesses big and small all over Australia.
I’ve also set out to create an excavation and digger wholesale service that’s unique, practical and different from many other services you may have used before.
This includes having an exclusive “RHINOCEROS PACK” which is opening up a wide range of opportunities for my clients and supplying the complete service to our valued clients from start to finish.
When I’m Not At Diggers Direct
When I’m not speaking with clients, organising deliveries of Rhinoceros excavators and diggers to customers, or sourcing a specific excavator or digger they need, you’ll find me either fishing, boating, hiking or playing with my kids.
I’ve also got a few personal accomplishments to date that I’m extremely proud of, such as being on the archery team in Canada, flying a Cessna around the CN Tower in Canada, and being a river guide canoeing up the Yukon River.
